This is a little of my very first attempts before i completely figured out drafting and the park method.

then this still a spin in progress on my Bosworth after I starting to figure out drafting a little more consistantly....

should of done the penny thing, but hindsite being what it is, next batch I take pics of I will.
Still have over a pound of roving to work with so.... Trying to do at least 15-20mins a day to keep up practice and get better.

and you know what the best thing is about these pics??? YOU CAN SEE PROGRESS!!! congrats!
It looks great! Mine was worse than that when I started... ;) Oh and most people use quarters, but I don't do it either. Can never find one!
congrats on the spinning! it looks great to me! i have a spindle that i have been too nervous to try! good for you for giving it a go! keep it up! you will get it!
Oustanding! Be sure to make something, anything out of your first yarn. A potholder, whatever. You will soon be an accomplished spinner, and you'll never be able to make beginner-style "novelty" yarn again. Be proud!
